Lori J. Schroeder brings years of experience and maturity to her role as Video Editor and Director. Lori began her career in Ottawa in a field largely dominated by men. She stood strong and brought a refreshing approach to the process of Video Production.

Based on the strength of her corporate work, she expanded her client base to include the national broadcasters, CBC and TFO. Her technical abilities were also recognized by Sony Canada when they brought Lori on board to teach and train clients in the operation of their edit suite products.

In addition to her national broadcasting credentials, Lori has worked for an extended period of time with Canada's premier cultural institutions, the former Canadian Museum of Civilization and the Canadian War Museum. She has traveled across the country on numerous occasions on behalf of the museums, not only as an Video Editor, but also as a Producer and Director. Work she created for the museums has won numerous awards in North American competitions and her hundreds of productions have been seen by thousands. She continues to be a preferred supplier to the newly renamed, Canadian Museum of History.

Lori has also enjoyed exceptional success editing and directing on behalf of the Royal Canadian Mint, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada and the Perley Rideau Veterans’ Health Centre. Additionally, Lori values contributions to the community. She has worked for Ottawa based, Community Veterinary Outreach which provides free vet services to marginalized pet owners and the Parkinson’s focused organization, My Angel, My Hero.

Lori offers a profound knowledge of the entire work flow process, right from concept to final upload. She edits with Adobe Premiere and when the opportunity presents itself, she is very comfortable shooting from behind the lenses of Canon Cameras.
